About the Company

We deliver a full range of construction services, from ground-up builds to interior renovations, envelope enlargements, condos, townhomes, and mixed-use developments. We prioritize collaboration, detailed planning, and strong execution to keep projects on schedule and minimize costly changes. If you’re passionate about building and want to contribute to meaningful, community-shaping projects, this is a great place to grow.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Cost Estimator to provide accurate, strategic financial planning across complex construction projects. In this role, you’ll analyze project documents, build precise estimates, and partner closely with project teams to ensure work is completed on time and within budget.

We need an estimator for a General Contractor, which means you’ll be responsible for the 'total project' view. You’ll be analyzing the entire scope of work, coordinating across all divisions, and ensuring the overall project budget is accurate, rather than just focusing on one specific trade.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare comprehensive, accurate cost estimates based on blueprints, specs, and proposals
  • Determine labor, material, equipment, and scheduling costs
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and vendors
  • Perform quantity takeoffs, pricing, and bid preparation
  • Maintain supplier and subcontractor directories
  • Support contract negotiations and update estimates as projects evolve

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 4+ years as a Cost Estimator in construction, including 2+ years in NYC
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, sequencing, and pricing
  • Proficiency with estimating software
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication
  • Experience with commercial or high-rise projects
  • Familiarity with local codes and the ability to meet tight deadlines

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation
  • Training and professional growth opportunities
  • Exposure to diverse, high-profile projects
  • A collaborative, supportive team culture
  • Generous PTO and holidays
