DNAinfo New York is looking for neighborhood reporter to cover the Upper East Side.

This reporter will dig into education, politics, real estate and crime, as well be comfortable covering spot news. The reporter will be expected to quickly develop sources in the neighborhood and be able to break news on the beat. We do not transcribe community board meetings.

You're the ideal candidate if:

► You care about NYC's neighborhoods and reporting out local stories that bubble up from the streets.

► You have a social media following, and you can use Twitter and other social media platforms to find cool things going on in the neighborhood.

► You have solid reporting chops, including photography and breaking news reporting skills.
