Job description
Jomboy Media is seeking an NYC-based Intern to join our fast-growing team of trendsetters. The ideal candidate is a self-starter looking to make an impact in a hyper-growth environment. This person will work with our content creator & Host of Talkin Giants, Justin Penik on a daily basis. We are in-office and expect all interns to be either at our NYC office on their assigned days.
Requirements
- Strong familiarity with Jomboy Media content across all platforms and Talkin Giants
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, including but not limited to Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Understanding of Jomboy Media's brand, voice and audience.
- You are here to get things done. You understand that in a start-up environment, everyone wears multiple hats.
- You are organized, creative, a good communicator and a team player.
- Able to work out of either our NYC office or Warehouse in Jersey City.
- Support the Host of Talkin Giants with various tasks & projects.
- Assist running Talkin Giants socials accounts.
- Be available to post graphics when news breaks and cover the day to day activities of the team.
- Be an integral part of Talkin Giants/JM Football's NFL Draft coverage.
- Have an understanding of the pre-draft process and be able to assist in gathering information, footage and compilations of prospects.
- Identify clips to be made for their social media accounts.
- Customize content and clips for individual creators and brands.
- Stay up to date and watch all current shows, looking for short-form content that can be used for You Tube Shorts, Instagram and X.
- Create socials specific content like memes, compilations, stats and help give the show account personality
- Serve as an extension of the hosts creating content that fits their voices
- Present all content loggings and findings in an organized fashion.
- Contribute new and creative ways to engage our community members through our digital content and social channels.
* Our internship program is currently unpaid. Candidates must receive school credit.
