• Works directly with Dentist and assists with patient care.
• Performs duties and responsibilities that directly and indirectly involve patient care.
• Other clinical and patient care duties as assigned.
• Will be expected to provide support to other clinics if needed.
• Will assist Dentists in the performance of general Orthodontics procedures on patients.
• Takes and develops dental x-rays, follows Montefiore’s infection control and documentation guidelines.
• Must be able to support at nearby Montefiore dental clinic if needed on rare occasions.
• Ability to provide rotating weekend coverage based on operational need is a MUST.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of Dental Assistant experience Required.
• BLS Required.
• Formal Dental Assistant training or certification Preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish Preferred.
