At NYC Health + Hospitals/Gotham Health , we are on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Associate Medical Director to lead our community-based ambulatory care practices. This role is a perfect blend of 50% administrative and 50% clinical responsibilities, allowing you to shape clinical strategy while providing top-notch patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement clinical strategies for ambulatory care transformation.
- Lead clinical direction for the site, ensuring high-quality patient care.
- Participate in site management and clinical quality strategy development.
- Build collaborative relationships across service lines to enhance care metrics.
- Focus teams on visions and strategies that improve performance.
- Monitor Care Gap metrics to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain an on-site presence to fulfill all work duties.
- Board Certification in a medical specialty (Internal or Family Medicine preferred).
- Active New York State Medical License .

Compensation and Benefits:We offer a competitive compensation package that includes:
- Annual Base Salary: $244,000* based on a 40-hour work week.
- Total Compensation Package:
Estimated at $268,400** , including 401(k) contributions and more. - 401(k) Company Contribution: Immediate vesting in a 3% contribution, plus an additional 7% after one year.
