The College is seeking exceptional colleagues. We seek candidates with an understanding of the college mission and teaching experience in a comprehensive community college; a focus on student success in a learner-centered environment; and a willingness to use technology to support learning, including online instruction and assessment of student learning outcomes.

• Facilitate classroom instruction; teach assigned classes in accordance with the learning objectives.
• Develop and maintain syllabus materials; evaluate student performance; maintain grades and enter midterm and final grades.
• Respond promptly to student inquiries; maintain attendance records according to MVCC standards.
• Integrate current and emerging instructional delivery technologies into the learning process.
• Maintain professional standards that protect student confidentiality; communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with discretion, patience, and courtesy.

• Adjunct faculty members teach contracted classes in accordance with established policies and guidelines.
• Courses may be taught in traditional classroom settings, virtually, or a combination.
• Specific assignments will be made according to the academic qualifications and availability of the individual and the School needs.
• Successful candidates must reside in New York State and have the ability to work on campus as required.
