Adjunct College Laboratory Technician
Location:
NYC College of Technology (City Tech) of the City University of New York (CUNY), downtown Brooklyn.
The Law and Paralegal Studies Department seeks Adjunct College Laboratory Technicians to support student coursework and laboratory activities for the Spring 2026 and/or Fall 2026 academic semesters.
GENERAL DUTIES- Performs highly-skilled laboratory functions and other technical duties in support of coursework.
- Sets up, maintains, and organizes student laboratories.
- Assists students with setting up experiments and other learning exercises, and with the use of equipment and materials.
- Maintains appropriate safety, hygiene standards, and required documentation related to laboratory activities.
- Manages equipment and materials inventories.
- Maintains, fabricates, modifies, and repairs student computers; conducts regular updates; creates and posts signage; ensures computers are whitelisted for internet access each semester; submits tickets for equipment disposal; liaises with vendors for equipment support and parts replacement; performs additional related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma with a minimum of four years related experience.
- Additional education may be used to meet the experience requirement: an Associate degree may be substituted for two years experience, and a Bachelor's degree may be substituted for four years experience.

Experience with SPSS, Cortex XDR antivirus, Forti
NAC and Lan School Classroom Management Software.
$34.20/hr
