Adjunct is responsible for instruction, course preparation, developing instructional materials, grading and assessment, and professional responsibilities as a member of the instructional team of a school or academic department.
Responsibilities
* Teach a minimum of one undergraduate level course
• Prepare course materials such as syllabi homework assignments and handouts
• Be prompt and accurate in the recording and reporting of student data
• Support students' learning goals by:
* Focusing on student learning outcomes-Taking into account the needs and abilities of the students-Becoming familiar with academic and social support-Making reasonable provisions to accommodate individual differences-Maintaining the academic integrity of the college-Making himself/herself available to assist student in achieving their learning goals
Qualifications
* Doctoral degree preferred (or an equivalent of highest attainable degree)
• Previous collegiate teaching experience
Maximum Salary
USD $6,000.00/Sem
Minimum Salary
USD $4,800.00/Sem
