Tele World Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior RF Engineer/VoNR Optimization Engineer to lead performance analysis and optimization for a critical competitive benchmarking project in the New York Metro area. This project involves conducting drive testing across NYC, Long Island, Westchester, Rockland, and Putnam to evaluate VoNR performance against major competitors. The role is central to delivering actionable optimization recommendations to Verizon based on deep Layer 3 analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Lead performance analysis and optimization for competitive benchmarking as part of critical Verizon projects.
- Conduct VoNR testing campaigns per predefined route plans using XCAL, automated scripts, GPS modules, and configured test devices.
- Configure and maintain 12 UEs and SIMs across multiple carrier profiles and ensure devices are VoNR-enabled.
- Execute VoNR and data session tests, including reliability and availability tests for VoLTE/VoNR calls.
- Collect and process data using XCAL/XCAP, MOS tools, scanners, GPS modules, and multi-device testing setups.
- Post-process logs, extract KPIs, perform Layer 3 analysis, and identify optimization opportunities.
- Generate comprehensive summary reports highlighting benchmarking results, KPI comparisons, geographic visualizations, and recommendation findings for Verizon.
- 3-7+ years of RF Engineering, RAN testing, or wireless performance experience.
- Hands‑on experience with VoNR/VoLTE, drive testing, and KPI analysis.
- Proficiency with XCAL/XCAP, MOS tools, scanners, GPS modules, and multi-device testing setups.
- Strong knowledge of Layer 3 protocols, VoNR call flows, IMS, and .
- Experience with competitive benchmarking or performance comparison projects.
- Ability to work in field‑test conditions across the New York Metro region.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and technical reporting skills.
- Hands‑on experience with Verizon network frequencies, KPIs, and optimization methods.
- Large‑scale benchmarking projects involving multiple carriers.
- Familiarity with tools such as Nemo, TEMS, Actix, or XCAT.
- Experience with RF scanners and multi‑UE test setups.
- Background in VoNR Layer 3 log analysis and root‑cause troubleshooting.
