We are seeking an experienced Building Envelope Restoration Specialist with a strong background in façade inspection and restoration. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience assessing and restoring exterior building systems, with a deep understanding of building envelope performance and maintenance. This role involves conducting detailed inspections, preparing technical reports, and coordinating restoration strategies to ensure the long-term integrity of commercial and residential structures.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive façade inspections, identifying deterioration, structural issues, and maintenance needs in accordance with local regulations and industry best practices.
- Evaluate the performance of building envelope components, including cladding, windows, sealants, waterproofing, and thermal systems.
- Develop restoration plans, scopes of work, and technical documentation for building façade repairs and upgrades.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to implement restoration solutions that meet aesthetic, structural, and energy efficiency goals.
- Monitor restoration projects to ensure quality workmanship, budget adherence, and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Prepare detailed inspection and project reports, including photographic documentation, condition assessment findings, and recommendations.
- Restoration Expertise
:
Proven knowledge of building restoration techniques, including structural repairs, masonry restoration, and historic façade preservation. - Building Envelope Knowledge
:
Strong understanding of building envelope systems, including waterproofing, thermal insulation, air/vapor barriers, and their role in overall building performance. - Facade Inspection Experience
:
Hands‑on experience conducting façade inspections, including visual assessments, documentation, and reporting in compliance with local regulations and industry standards. - Industry Experience
: A minimum of five years of professional experience in façade restoration, building envelope consulting, or related fields, demonstrating technical proficiency and project leadership.
