A client of Insight Global in the Bronx, NY is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team! This individual will be responsible for leading capital projects related to facilities, cost savings, packaging, increasing or decreasing new or existing product lines, equipment, and/or continuous improvement. Project budgets can range from $200k to $1M+. Timelines and scope for each project will vary, but this individual must be able to lead cross functional teams from design to delivery.

Consistent communication with various business groups, executive leadership and vendors is required. This is an onsite position; candidates are required to be onsite 5 days per week.

• Lead capital projects related to facilities, cost savings, packaging, product line changes, equipment, and/or continuous improvement.
• Manage project budgets from $200k to $1M+; lead cross-functional teams from design to delivery.
• Maintain consistent communication with various business groups, executive leadership and vendors.
• This is an onsite position; candidates are required to be onsite 5 days per week.

• 6+ years of experience as an engineer with project management responsibilities
• Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, chemical, or biomedical preferred)
• Experience leading cross functional teams
• Experience leading $1M+ capital projects (managing scope, budgets and timelines)

• FDA or pharmaceutical industry experience

$60/hr to $70/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
