Assistant Civil Engineer – Utility
Responsibilities
- Catch basin and watermain design and alignment.
- Record research and site investigation for utility clients and city agencies.
- Maintenance and Protection of Traffic Construction Staging.
- Studies, development of technical drawings, preparation of estimates of quantities and writing specifications.
- Field work for data gathering, test pit inspection, surveys and construction observations.
- Coordination with various City Agencies.
Qualifications
- A Baccalaureate degree in civil engineering from an accredited college.
- 0-3 years of experience.
- Knowledge of CAD (AutoCAD especially).
- Knowledge of Civil3D, (a plus).
- Knowledge of Microstation, (a plus).
- Detail oriented, excellent writing skills.
Certifications / Licenses
- EIT Preferred

The pay range for this position in New York is $63,000.00 to $65,000.00; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate.
