Assistant Civil Engineer – Utility

Responsibilities

• Catch basin and watermain design and alignment.
• Record research and site investigation for utility clients and city agencies.
• Maintenance and Protection of Traffic Construction Staging.
• Studies, development of technical drawings, preparation of estimates of quantities and writing specifications.
• Field work for data gathering, test pit inspection, surveys and construction observations.
• Coordination with various City Agencies.

Qualifications

• A Baccalaureate degree in civil engineering from an accredited college.
• 0-3 years of experience.
• Knowledge of CAD (AutoCAD especially).
• Knowledge of Civil3D, (a plus).
• Knowledge of Microstation, (a plus).
• Detail oriented, excellent writing skills.

Certifications / Licenses

• EIT Preferred

The pay range for this position in New York is $63,000.00 to $65,000.00; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate.
