Location: Lockport, Louisiana (with moderate travel)

Type: Full-Time (Contingent on Contract Award)

Insight Technology Solutions is seeking qualified candidates for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) to provide critical support for the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Patrol Boat Acquisition Office (CG-9125) Fast Response Cutter (FRC) Project Resident Office in Lockport, Louisiana.

Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E)

• Post Delivery Field Support and Warranty Engineer.
• Responsible for performing the position as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) systems on the FRC in a post-delivery environment.
• Utilize expertise to assist CG crews in troubleshooting/inspecting various issues with HM&E systems onboard the FRC and provide assessments and make recommendations if a warrantable condition exists.
• Draft and submit warranty claims ensuring all information is complete and accurate.
• Manage all warranty submittals and pre-delivery discrepancy items and verify repairs are properly performed during and after completion.
• Observe post-delivery completion of Engineering Change Notices by the contractor and subcontractors.
• Generate and prioritize recommended work lists for warranty and pre-delivery discrepancies for scheduling with the contractor and subcontractors.
• Provide post-delivery support to newly delivered FRCs; include training of crews, providing logistical support, and providing advanced troubleshooting assistance.
• Generate and provide both written and oral reports.
• Be on call as needed to assist crews in troubleshooting casualties aboard the FRCs.
