Senior Windows Engineer

An employer is looking for 2 Senior Windows Engineers to join their team in NYC. The engineer will design and implement infrastructure standards for Windows environments, including AD, DNS, DHCP, and Exchange. He/she will manage virtual server platforms to ensure high availability and security and automate routine tasks using Power Shell or Python to improve efficiency and reduce errors. This person will be responsible for monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and applying updates and patches proactively.

This is a collaborative role, working with engineering teams to maintain compliance with industry standards and optimize system reliability as well as perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and support critical infrastructure in a fast-paced financial environment.
Compensation for this role is 60-90/hr per hour. Compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in infrastructure technology
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Exchange
- Strong experience managing virtual server infrastructure (VMware, Nutanix)
- Proficiency in automation scripting with Power Shell or Python
- Cloud experience with Azure
