BR+A seeks an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer in our New York, NY office. Candidates must be strongly motivated, well organized, and show professional initiative. The ability to take ownership of assignments and perform well both independently and as part of the project team is necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of Revit, and their responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality designs and deliverables on technically challenging projects
• Managing projects, writing proposals, maintaining positive client relationships
• Providing Engineering, Design work and drafting of plans
• Implementing approved system concepts from a schematic diagram to floor plans
• Sketching rough layouts to review with Project Engineer or Project Manager
• Reviewing product cut sheets and technical information
• Communicating with Project Manager/Project Engineer regarding potential problems
• Meeting with vendors to determine spatial requirements for the application of the product
• Attending meetings as required
• Submitting the required documentation per project deadlines and milestones
• Attending in-house coordination meetings when appropriate
• Developing a strategy to meet the projects' schedule
• Assisting in the development of engineering systems concepts (M/E)
• Assisting the design team on major design issues
• Organizing required technical correspondence, emails, and calculations
• Performing fieldwork and verification of existing conditions

• Capable of visiting job sites to perform fieldwork

Minimum Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• PE License
• 10 - 15 years of related experience

Salary Range for 10
-15 years of experience: $120,000 - $165,000
