Job Description

The Global Fund Finance business within the Capital Solutions Group in Global Banking and Markets deploys the firm’s balance sheet across a full suite of structured financing and risk management solutions across the private markets ecosystems.

• Work with senior members of the deal team to structure and execute complex collateralized lending transactions.
• Become an expert on the front‑to‑back deal lifecycle, including structuring terms, negotiating legal agreements, managing bookings, operational flows and risk metrics.
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative factors influencing the credit quality of private companies.
• Perform detailed relative value assessments to evaluate the risk‑reward spectrum of each deal, including calculating deal‑specific returns.
• Draft detailed investment committee memos.
• Analyze financial statements, credit reports, market trends and economic indicators to assess creditworthiness and recommend structural solutions to mitigate identified risks.
• Stay informed on regulatory changes, economic developments and industry trends affecting private markets.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Engineering or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in technical and quantitative roles involving risk analysis.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical reasoning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced environment and interact with clients, legal counsel and other teams.
• Strong organizational skills and capacity to manage processes at scale.
• Independent ownership and resource leverage to execute tasks efficiently.

• Strong desire to build in‑depth expertise in Private Markets.
• Structuring experience in secured/collateralized lending is highly valued.
• Exposure to a broad range of credit strategies (direct lending, distressed, opportunistic) is a plus.
• Focus on credit risk assessments for illiquid instruments is a plus.

The expected base salary for this New York, New York position is $110,000–$125,000.
