Tax Family Office- Senior Associate

** Primary Responsibilities
** As a Senior Associate in our New York office, your responsibilities would include the following activities:
* Preparation and review of personal, business and fiduciary income tax returns including multi-state filings
* Preparation and review of tax projections for planning and estimated taxes and other tax planning
* Respond to tax notices and assist with tax audits
* Tax research and special projects
* Review of payroll tax returns and other information tax return filings
* Forensic accounting and other financial work for matrimonial actions
* Provide business management/financial administration/financial concierge services for multiple clients - this includes direct contact with clients as well as supervision and review of bookkeeping services such as general ledger postings, payroll, bank reconciliations, write-ups and preparation of financial statements)
* Review client specific reports including financial statements, budgets, cash flow and spending reports, as well as financial plans
* Responsible for developing and maintaining superior client relationships
* Interaction with other members of a client’s wealth management team
* Responsible for all business aspects of client relationships including billing, collecting and maintaining profitability

* Required Qualifications:

* * Extensive knowledge of income tax planning, financial planning and financial administration
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Masters in Tax a plus
* CPA license preferred, CFP desirable
* 5 – 7 years of High Net Worth tax experience with CPA firm or wealth management firm
* Extensive experience with preparation and review of individual income tax returns with an emphasis on the taxation of high net worth individuals
* Proficiency with CCH Axcess Tax and Quick Books (Desktop and Online versions)
* Ability to manage professionals, workflow,  to multitask and meet deadlines
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness combined with a team mentality
** Compensation Range:**$120,000-$140,000
