Credit Analyst

Our salary ranges are based on the role’s function, level, and benchmarks against similar companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including skills, job-related knowledge, and depth of experience.

The role is responsible for helping to maintain underwriting and operational excellence across the portfolio. The ideal candidate is excited to dig into the books of high-growth companies, monitor and develop credit procedures and contribute to a vibrant startup ecosystem.

• Support the underwriting/portfolio teams with screening new opportunities, renewals and reviews
• Prepare industry research and analysis, financial modeling and analysis, and performance-related information
• Work collaboratively with underwriting and portfolio management teams to monitor and assess client financials and collateral
• Assist in the preparation of portfolio reviews
• Build out and update financial models for clients
• Assist in building out underwriting and due diligence processes
• 3 to 6 years of asset-based lending, private credit, or investment banking experience
• High proficiency with Excel and financial modeling
• Demonstrated competency in financial statement analysis; you have a deep understanding of the interrelationship of the balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flow
• High level of analytical ability to determine loan risk and recommend credit limitations
• Deep familiarity with due diligence and underwriting processes
• Excellent communication skills, exhibiting a high level of comfort and confidence when engaging with external management teams
