Billing Specialist

Description We are looking for a Billing Specialist to join a fast-growing software company based in New York, New York.

This role offers the opportunity to work with a global organization of over 1,500 employees, supporting essential finance operations and ensuring smooth billing and collections processes. The position is hybrid, requiring three days onsite, and includes comprehensive training to help you succeed.

Responsibilities:

- Manage billing and invoicing processes with precision to ensure all financial systems are accurate and aligned.

- Handle client inquiries and resolve billing-related issues promptly and professionally.

- Oversee collections efforts, collaborating with collection agencies to recover outstanding payments.

- Verify that Salesforce and Net Suite systems are synchronized and functioning effectively for billing purposes.

- Address and resolve client support tickets related to billing and collections.

- Monitor and manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and accurate reporting.

- Execute detailed calculations and adjustments as required for billing accuracy.

- Support the finance team in achieving organizational goals and maintaining compliance with financial regulations.

- Participate in training sessions to continuously enhance billing and collections expertise.

- Collaborate with global financial headquarters to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Requirements - Proven experience in billing and collections, preferably within the medical or software industries.

- Strong ability to perform complex calculations and ensure accuracy in financial systems.

- Familiarity with medical billing processes and provider networks is highly advantageous.

- Proficiency in managing accounts receivable and resolving disputes effectively.

- Expertise in using billing software, including Salesforce and Net Suite.

- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

- Excellent communication skills for addressing client concerns and collaborating with teams.

- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with three days onsite in New York, New York.
