The Bureau of Harlem Neighborhood Health (Harlem BNH) supports the Health Department's mission to protect and promote the health of all New Yorkers.
Duties- Lead strategic planning, implementation and evaluation of bureau's capacity building efforts.
- Evaluate various data sources, including community partner surveys; use evaluation findings to inform program development and recommendations; develop trainings and workshops for community-based organizations.
- Supervise staff conducting community surveys, listening sessions and assessments; review literature to assess innovative and effective community engagement.
- Lead and support the use of PHPC, and other IT solutions, in maintaining partner relations, etc.
- Experience developing, conducting and evaluating community assessments.
- Experience in program design and development.
- Experience in various data collection methods such as interviews, questionnaires and focus groups, etc.
New York City residency is generally required within 90 days of appointment.
