* 3 years experience with medical billing preferred.
* Previous experience in a healthcare business office or Physicians office preferred.
* Knowledge of medical terminology required.
* Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills required.
* Ability to independently take initiative and exercise good judgment in decision-making. Detail attentiveness required. Individual must be self-motivated and willing to self- direct
* Ability to empathize and establish positive rapport with customers recognizing the importance of maintaining a positive customer service relationship with internal customers, external customers, patients, residents, family members, insurance providers, etc.
* Proficiency with computers required.
* High school Level of knowledge required.
