Base Pay Range: $18.00/hr - $21.00/hr
Type: Contract Position (13 weeks assignment) (With Possible Extension)
Location: New York, NY 10017
Pay Rate: $18/hr - $21/hr
Shift: Day
Required Qualifications- 2–3 years of medical billing experience
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and 3rd-party reimbursement
- Proficient with ICD-9, ICD-10, and CPT coding
- Familiarity with insurance guidelines and compliance standards
- Verify billing forms and enter data into appropriate systems
- Review documentation for CPT and ICD-9 coding accuracy
- Investigate billing inquiries and prepare documentation for resolution
- Communicate with patients and staff regarding billing discrepancies, payment plans, and account details
- Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT coding, and billing accuracy
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent organization, time management, and multitasking skills
