Operations Manager

As Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of Shaver Hall to ensure excellence in service, efficiency, and guest satisfaction. This highly visible and hands-on role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest operational standards. From managing front-of-house execution and team performance to supporting private events and activations, you will play a vital role in ensuring Shaver Hall operates seamlessly every day.

Working in partnership with the leadership team, you'll balance guest experience, operational precision, and brand presentation to help solidify Shaver Hall as one of New York City's most exceptional hospitality destinations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead front-of-house operations with a focus on hospitality, consistency, and service excellence.
• Ensure the proper setup, service, and breakdown of daily operations and private events.
• Support and develop team members to uphold Shaver Hall's service and brand standards.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including walkthroughs, bar setup, and readiness checks.
• Manage labor scheduling, inventory, and cost control systems to maintain efficiency.
• Partner with department leaders to ensure quality, cleanliness, and safety across all spaces.
• Engage directly with guests to build relationships, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain accountability for all service, sanitation, and operational standards.
• Oversee and uphold compliance with company policies and all applicable local/state/federal laws.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of food & beverage management experience; multi-outlet or high-volume environment preferred.
• Bar management or event execution experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on coaching and accountability.
• Fun, energetic, and passionate about delivering an exceptional guest experience.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities; comfortable working autonomously.
• Managers' Food Handler's and Alcohol Service Certifications required (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift at least 50 lbs.

COMPENSATION:

$55,000 - $75,000
