Base pay range$61,000.00/yr - $66,000.00/yr
As part of the Legal Recruiting team, the coordinator will help organize the firm’s recruiting efforts for both lateral associates and law students. Primary tasks include lateral attorney interview coordination, assistance with summer program facilitation, on campus interview (OCI) program preparation, attending law school events, and various other attorney recruitment related responsibilities.
- Assist with preparation and scheduling of programs and events (summer program events, legal recruiting trainings, hiring committee and summer steering committee meetings, etc.)
- Attend and assist in facilitation of summer trainings and events (setting up technology in conference rooms, handing out nametags, etc.)
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating interviews for lateral associate and law student hires.
- Log in candidate applications and documents into applicant tracking system, as well as update their application status as needed.
- Work with the team to coordinate and host ten-week summer program for law students.
- Join attorneys to visit law school campuses and recruit students as needed.
- Prepare recruitment related materials (such as onboarding spreadsheets, materials for hiring committee meetings, etc.) and keep meticulous records of hiring data.
- Other recruiting related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Self-starter with a high attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Strong writer, proofreader and editor.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively with lawyers, students and staff.
- Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with applicant tracking systems and Outlook preferred.
- Ability to multi-task and generate quality work product in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to hand confidential information and sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.
Education and experience
- BA or equivalent
- Experience working in a law firm setting preferred
COMPENSATION
Salary range: $61,000 - $66,000, dependent upon experience level.
