Social Media Manager​/Content Creator

Byroe is a premium, upcycled superfood skincare brand rooted in Korean heritage and modern science. Our mission is to transform imperfect superfoods into high-performance skincare that is as effective as it is sustainable. As we expand globally, we’re looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Manager / Content Creator to join our team.

Position Type: Freelance (3 months) with potential transition to Full-Time.

Location: Remote / NYC-based preferred.

Platforms: Tik Tok, Meta (Instagram/Facebook), Linked In.

Compensation: $2,000/month freelance contract (approx. 30 hours/week) for the first 3 months.

Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Develop and edit engaging daily content (short-form videos, reels, stories, static posts) that is native to each platform and aligned with Byroe’s brand voice.
• Trend Research: Stay on top of trending sounds, challenges, hashtags, and features to bring fresh ideas that can go viral.
• Content Strategy & Calendar: Plan, organize, and execute a consistent content calendar across Tik Tok, Instagram, and Linked In.
• Copywriting: Write compelling captions, hooks, and CTAs optimized for each platform and SEO.
• Scheduling & Posting: Manage day-to-day posting and scheduling to ensure timely content delivery.
• Community Engagement: Actively engage with followers — reply to comments, DMs, and foster conversations that strengthen community.

  Research and source influencers for paid and unpaid partnerships, supporting influencer campaigns and collaborations.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor analytics, track KPIs, and provide insights to improve reach, engagement, and conversions.
• Campaign Support: Assist in amplifying product launches, retail activations, and brand partnerships across social channels.

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing (beauty/skincare industry experience preferred).
• Proven ability to create viral short-form content (Tik Tok/Instagram Reels).
• Strong video editing skills (Cap Cut, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools).
• Excellent writing and communication skills with a sharp eye for trends.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Passion for beauty, skincare, and sustainability is a plus.
