What You Will Do:

As a Staff Protocol Engineer, you will be a key contributor to the development of Avalanche’s primary network and subnets. Your work will directly impact the scalability and efficiency of Avalanche, enabling decentralized applications to operate more smoothly and securely.

Some of the exciting projects you will contribute to include:

• Extending the Avalanche Primary Network to improve the deployment and interaction with Subnets, making them more accessible.
• Designing powerful abstractions over the EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine), enabling its core components to be independently deployed and optimized for Avalanche.
• Writing and maintaining low-level libraries that Custom Virtual Machines (CVMs) use to communicate with Avalanche Go.
• Projects like P-Chain uptime voting scalability, dynamic fees for Subnet registration, and enhancing the security of Permissionless Subnets will rely on your contributions.
• Work on Cross-Subnet Communication across the Avalanche network through Avalanche Warp Messaging.

Your code will directly influence the future of blockchain and its applications, impacting the evolution of DeFi platforms, cryptocurrency systems, and beyond.
