Candidates must be based in the NYC region. This full‑time position is NYC‑based with remote flexibility; onsite as needed.

We are seeking an outstanding Senior Network Engineer to join our Global Infrastructure team at Convene Hospitality Group in a fast‑paced, agile environment. In this role, you’ll tackle a broad range of business initiatives, leveraging a wide set of technologies and tools. You’ll be instrumental in supporting our internal CHG team, overseeing network and security infrastructure across venue properties, multiple cloud environments, and a diverse range of networking technologies.

• Design, develop, build, and maintain network architecture for a multi‑tenant enterprise that is corporate and customer‑facing.
• Partner with internal and external teams to automate provisioning for new clients and basic tasks.
• Assist in projects that lead to network improvements including equipment code upgrades, hardware upgrades, and application software improvements.
• Work with vendors and service providers to ensure production environment operates at peak proficiency.
• Build, maintain, and improve a network automation platform.
• Build, maintain, and improve cloud‑based and server‑based compute platforms using Virtualization, K8s, and containerization.
• Maintain and improve an AWS‑based Cloud Networking environment.
• Actively monitor network health across Convene locations, identify and propose solutions to problems before they occur.
• Participate in day‑to‑day network operations and on‑call rotation when needed.
• Innovate, never accept the status quo.
• Explore new technologies and have fun finding the best tools.
• Identify and implement process improvements.

• 7+ years of hands‑on experience with deploying, maintaining, and managing enterprise‑scale networks.
• Deep understanding of core networking concepts. Experience with L2, L3 routing protocols, multi‑site VPN, WiFi, and cloud networking typically used in any enterprise WAN architecture.
