• We are seeking a skilled Database Architect specializing in Mongo
  
  DB schema design and optimization to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable and high-performance No

• They will work closely with developers, data engineers, and system architects to ensure database structures align with business needs while maintaining efficiency, security, and scalability.
• Schema Design & Optimization
• Design, develop, and maintain efficient Mongo
  
  DB schemas tailored to application requirements.
• Implement best practices for data modeling, indexing, and query optimization.
• Optimize existing database designs to enhance performance and scalability.
• Database Performance Tuning
• Analyze query performance and recommend indexing strategies.
• Monitor database metrics and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Leverage aggregation pipelines and other Mongo
  
  DB features to optimize data retrieval.
• Scalability & High Availability
• Architect sharding and replication strategies for distributed Mongo
  
  DB deployments.
• Ensure database availability, reliability, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Design backup and restore processes for business continuity.
• Collaboration & Documentation
• Work closely with development teams to align data models with application requirements.
• Provide guidance on Mongo
  
  DB usage and best practices.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for database structures, processes, and optimizations.
• Security & Compliance
• Implement authentication, authorization, and encryption mechanisms.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and security best practices.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in database architecture with a focus on Mongo
  
  DB.
• Proficiency in No
  
  SQL database modeling techniques.
• Strong knowledge of Mongo
  
  DB indexing, sharding, and replication.
• Experience with Mongo
  
  DB performance tuning, aggregation frameworks, and query profiling.
• Understanding of data security best practices in Mongo
  
  DB.
• Experience working with cloud-based Mongo
  
  DB solutions (Mongo
  
  DB Atlas, AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
• Familiarity with data migration from relational to No
  
  SQL databases.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, JavaScript, Shell) for automation.

• Experience with other No
  
  SQL databases (Cassandra, Dynamo
  
  DB, etc.).
• Familiarity with big data processing tools like Apache Spark.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines for database deployments.
• Knowledge of machine learning and analytics on Mongo
  
  DB datasets.

Pay Range: $115,500 - $135,500 per year.

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
