Data Analyst
The American Dental Education Association is seeking to add an experienced Manager, Learning Analytics to its team of high performing professionals.
The Manager, Learning Analytics will develop and manage a streamlined process for collecting, analyzing, and displaying data as it relates to the Office of Learning (OL), with the ultimate goal of developing dashboards that will efficiently collect and display information regarding all Office of Learning processes including all learning programs, evaluations, and awards/scholarships, and other learning programs offered throughout the Association.
Analysis of the data will provide a robust foundation for a cross departmental quality improvement process and ensure compliance with the Commission on Continuing Education Provider Recognition (CCEPR-CERP). This individual will partner with the Office of Learning team members and others, as they collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to design and implement professional development programs for ADEA’s members.
This role will serve as the primary staff liaison to maintain compliance and produce reports related to the requirements of the CCEPR – CERP. Additional responsibilities are described below (point
4), and these may change over time.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional education and experience is required.
Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills, along with ability to act as ambassador for ADEA with its members and member leadership.
Strong project and program management capabilities and experience.
In-depth knowledge of software utilization and dashboard creation, and strong technical skills.
A problem-solving mindset, process-oriented individual who can help design solutions to ensure smooth running of the Department.
In-depth knowledge of, and experience in, data analytics, and designing databases and data visualization, including SQL and Tableau. Must have expertise in Qualtrics (or comparable platform), Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Adobe PDF and video conference/meeting software such as Zoom/Teams.
Must possess excellent judgment, exceptional organizational skills, and professional discretion with information. Poise, tact, and diplomacy, with strong interpersonal and communicative skills. Attention to detail, deadline orientation and flexibility required.
