Job Title: Azure Administrator (Only W2 Consultants)

Duration: Long term

Location: New York, NY

Statement Of The Job: The Azure Administrator/Cloud Architect will engage in many activities, including design of Windows server environments, Exchange/O365 migrations, deployments, and migration to Azure environments, and acting as a point of escalation.

• Work with ISP and internal infrastructure teams to implement and manage Azure Express Route, Application gateways and Network Security Group
• Monitor Azure consumption to prevent over usage and implement Cost Advisor recommendations for cost reduction
• Provision and manage Azure App Services, Function Apps and Logic Apps
• Assist with Virtual Machine provisioning, migration, and configuration in Azure
• Manage, support and configure Azure Virtual Desktop
• Work with IT Development teams on the utilization of Azure Development tools, including and not limited to Service Bus, Key Vault, API Management
• Provision and manage Azure storage accounts
• Deploy and manage Azure OpenAI and other AI services
• Manage Purview and Data Lake
• Manage Azure Entra  Enterprise Applications registrations
• Design Disaster Recovery solution using Azure Site Recovery and Azure Backup to streamline existing IT Systems Recovery process

• Deep and broad knowledge of cloud service provider capabilities and integration required; knowledge of primary Azure services (Virtual Machines, Active Directory, Automation, Monitor, OMS)
• Knowledge of the Microsoft infrastructure and solution stacks operating in on-premises, cloud, and hybrid hosting environments
• Experience working with IT development software and methodology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong documentation and organization skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and work under pressure
