AI​/Machine Learning Engineer

We’re looking for experienced AI/ML Engineers to join a well funded, early stage health tech startup focused on revolutionizing the provider model and improving patient outcomes with AI. As a core member of the early engineering team, you would be responsible for data ingestion and analysis, developing data/ML pipelines and contributing broadly to product development. Competitive target compensation 150-200k+ plus equity, strong benefits and a hybrid NYC location.

• Ingesting, structuring and analyzing a wide range of unstructured data sources
• Designing, maintaining and orchestrating data pipelines in an AWS environment for production processing and training flows
• Continuously evaluate, analyze, test and improve the quality, privacy and performance of our data systems and models
• Contribute across the product, from front-end UX and product design, to API systems architecture and core ML development

• 3+ years of experience ingesting, analyzing and structuring a wide variety of data sources
• Production NLP or LLM experience (e.g. spacy, langchain, extensive LLM API usage)
• Significant experience building and maintaining data pipelines in a production environment
• Strong database/SQL, Python, pandas (or equivalent) experience
• Prior experience working in fast paced environments and tackling problems across the stack with quick iterations while maintaining a high quality bar.

• Significant healthcare data experience
• Significant MLE production or research experience - PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.
• Extensive production AWS, container and or data orchestration experience
• Fullstack development experience (JS/TS/Node in particular)
• Demonstrated experience in similar roles in a startup or consultancy
