Consultant, AppDev

This is a Growth Consultant position within the App Dev team at Google Customer Solutions. You’ll be working with top App customers in the Americas to help them optimize their user acquisition strategy with Google Ads.

You’ll play a crucial role in helping Google’s advertisers and publishers succeed. By providing expert advice and insights, you’ll empower them to grow their businesses through effective online marketing strategies.

GCS teams collaborate closely to identify and analyze customer needs and trends, creating and implementing tailored business plans.

This role can be based in New York, NY, San Francisco, CA, Los Angeles, CA, or Playa Vista, CA.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in business or media analytics, consulting, digital media, marketing, financial analysis, or another quantitative field.
• Experience using SQL to extract and manipulate data, or with other programming or scripting languages such as R, Python, or ad tech automation.

• Experience consulting businesses to influence strategic changes in their resource and budget allocations.
• Understanding of statistical modeling and quantitative analysis techniques.
• Familiarity with machine learning methodologies including data cleansing, normalization, feature engineering, model training/validation and automation.
• Ability to analyze large datasets with the goal of delivering actionable insights.
• Ability to speak with external stakeholders and agency clients at all levels in both technical and business discussions.
• Excellent problem-solving, project management, and investigative skills.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $106,000 – $156,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
