Overview

A global bank is seeking a Microsoft Power Platform / SQL Developer. The role is to design, develop, and implement automation applications using low-code and no-code platforms (Microsoft Power Platform: Power Automate, Power Apps) and configure systems to support the Vulnerability Patch Management project. This individual will work with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and build and deploy automated solutions.

$75.00/hr - $85.00/hr

Must be local to the NJ/NY area and within commuting distance of our NYC office

• SQL Server
• Stored procedures
• MERGE commands, creating tables, relational models, left/right joins
• Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate
• SQL Connectors and other connectors on Power Platform, SQL Server

• Researching and analyzing business processes with the scope of optimizing and automating them.
• Supporting, developing and maintaining the existing Vulnerability Patch Management (VPM) system.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, stored procedures and database design is a MUST.
• Developing on low-code tooling such as Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate, and leveraging SQL Server.
• Handle and manage multiple requests concurrently.
• Experience in production environments supporting multiple business units in a financial setting (Front Office to Support, RAD, Operations, Finance, IT, Risk, Compliance, Audit).
• Collaborating with stakeholders to assist on Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and capturing/defining technical specifications.

• Proven experience in low-code/no-code development and automation with strong understanding of business processes and workflow automation.
• Proficiency in low-code/no-code platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform;
  SharePoint experience a plus.
• Experience with Dev Ops, Service Now, Bitbucket, Jenkins.
• Knowledge of development lifecycle and experience with APIs, SQL, and software integration.
• Completed college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
