Our client, a global investment banking firm, is seeking a Dev Ops Engineer to join their infrastructure team in New York, NY or Los Angeles, CA.
Responsibilities- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Bicep and/or Terraform.
- Automate workflows and operational tasks using Python, Bash, JavaScript, and Power Shell.
- Support Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services, including compute, networking, security, and monitoring.
- Implement containerization strategies and manage AKS/Kubernetes clusters.
- Develop system integrations and APIs using Azure Logic Apps, Function Apps, and RESTful APIs.
- Implement monitoring, security scanning, and compliance automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
- Design and support data lake architectures and analytics platforms.
- Drive AI-powered automation and integrations using Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Azure AI Foundry.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to Dev Ops-related incidents as needed.
- 7+ years in Dev Ops or Cloud Engineering roles.
- Strong background in Microsoft Azure, CI/CD tools, and automation frameworks.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, JavaScript, and Power Shell for automation and integration.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep/Terraform) and container orchestration (AKS/Kubernetes).
- Experience with API development, JSON, and integration best practices.
- AI/ML integration experience using Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- Data lake architectures and analytics platforms such as Databricks, along with Power BI for reporting and visualization.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory, preferably in a hybrid environment.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
Salary: $140,000 - $170,000
