Job DescriptionWe are seeking a bold, entrepreneurial commercial leader to drive the strategy, growth, and execution of our partnership ecosystem across Butterfly Garden (our AI Marketplace) and Octiv (Powered by Butterfly), our Ultrasound-on-Chip™ semiconductor platform. In this role, you will source, structure, negotiate, and close high‑impact partnerships—including complex semiconductor, chip licensing, SDK, AI, and technology integration deals that fuel the growth of both platforms.
Reporting directly to the Chief Business Officer, you will shape the commercial strategy for two of Butterfly’s most important innovation engines.

Lead semiconductor, hardware, and OEM partnerships that scale the Ultrasound-on-Chip™ platform into next‑generation devices and breakthrough healthcare technologies. - Deep technical acumen and understanding of the semiconductor/chip industry.
- Lead the negotiation and structuring of semiconductor, chip licensing, technology integration, and supply‑chain‑related partnerships central to the Ultrasound-on-Chip™ platform.
- Identify and pursue step‑change commercial opportunities with OEMs, component manufacturers, hardware partners, and strategic technology collaborators.
- Develop business cases, pricing frameworks, and deal structures that reflect both technical complexity and long‑term commercial value.
- Partner with engineering, product, and operations teams to translate technical requirements into executable partnership terms.
- Define and execute an ecosystem strategy spanning semiconductor partners, AI developers, SDK collaborators, research institutions, and enterprise clinical customers.
- Build a diversified pipeline of partners that expand platform capabilities and accelerate adoption of integrated chip, hardware, and AI solutions.
- Lead negotiations, deal frameworks, and business models across the full partnership lifecycle.
- Drive revenue through high‑value semiconductor, technology, enterprise, and AI ecosystem deals across Octiv and Butterfly Garden.
- Develop and manage a robust pipeline that includes new business, expansion pathways, and multi‑year strategic collaborations.
- Create compelling value propositions aligned with executive, technical, and clinical stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key semiconductor, AI, and technology partners.
- Understand partner needs, strategic priorities, and technical constraints to influence internal roadmaps and cross‑functional decisions.
- Secure C‑suite alignment internally and externally on partnership goals, commitments, and trade‑offs.
- Collaborate deeply with product, engineering, clinical, and commercial teams to ensure partnership success from pilot through deployment.
- Drive internal alignment around SDK, AI, and semiconductor strategies—advocating for the resources and sequencing needed to deliver results.
- Maintain a structured, data‑driven approach for tracking partner stages, next steps, dependencies, and risks.
- Manage multiple complex, high‑touch partnerships simultaneously with precision, organization, and clarity.
