We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst with financial services industry experience. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills and experience analyzing complex financial datasets to drive actionable insights. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and business acumen to support decision-making and optimize financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL and other analytical tools.
Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business units, executives, and stakeholders.
Interpret financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Support financial modeling, forecasting, and performance analysis initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Technology, to understand data needs and deliver insights.
Maintain data integrity, ensure compliance with data governance policies, and document analysis processes.
Assist in automating reporting processes and improving data workflows.
Required Qualifications:
Experience as a Data Analyst in financial services or banking.
Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating complex datasets.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of financial instruments, markets, and key performance metrics.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Python, R, or other programming languages for data analysis.
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance reporting requirements in financial services.
Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL processes, or cloud-based financial data platforms.
