Our enterprise-level client is seeking to add two (2) Senior Infrastructure Project Managers to the team in New York City. Please see below for full details

-- 12+ month contract / extensions and perm conversion are possible but not guaranteed.
-- Office location -- New York, NY, 10018
-- Role is nearly 100% remote, but all candidates must be within one hour commuting distance to the office for occasional client visits.
-- Light travel required (less than 10%).

Senior Project Manager, Professional Services
The major purpose of this job function is to undertake end-to-end management of infrastructure and other IT projects using the full range of accepted best practice techniques and approved methodologies to deliver added value in multiple concurrent projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the customer, maintaining strong communication and professional relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Take end to end responsibility for defined projects, ensuring delivery meets agreed scope, quality and cost parameters.
- Build, supervise and effectively manage the project team.
- Collaborate with account teams on commercial control and financial governance, providing accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Manage project documentation and governance, including Project Initiation Documents and closure reports.
- Define and uphold project quality criteria and success factors while ensuring delivery within agreed cost parameters.
- Represent the project at project board level, providing clear updates and recommendations.
- Support presales activities and contribute to the development of compelling project proposals, working closely with account managers.
- Lead customer engagement during critical phases, including scope negotiations, change management, and issue resolution.
- Proven experience in program or project management, preferably within a professional service, service provider or technology environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence and drive change.
- Deep understanding of datacenter infrastructure components including storage, compute, networking, and security, with proven experience in integrating these solutions into enterprise environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strategic mindset.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in program or senior project management roles.
- Experience working closely with senior leadership and managing cross-functional teams.
- Extensive experience with large/complex project budgets including accurate billing, forecasting, daily/weekly financial tracking, etc.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) or similar is a plus.
- Proven capability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage financial aspects of complex projects effectively.
- Experience supporting pre-sales activities and collaborating closely with account teams to develop compelling solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to drive initiatives that support organizational growth and service improvement.
- Skilled in identifying and mitigating project risks and roadblocks to ensure successful delivery.
- A proactive, results-oriented approach with a focus on achieving project objectives and exceeding customer expectations.
