The base pay scale for this position is $83.00 per hour. In addition to competitive hourly pay, the role includes benefits consistent with the position, which may be adjusted based on scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation.
Responsibilities- Deliver the world’s best patient care in the Infusion Therapy Unit, providing comprehensive care to rheumatology patients.
- Conduct thorough patient assessment and history-taking in a high‑volume, fast‑paced ambulatory care setting.
- Perform infusion therapy, intravenous (IV) therapy, phlebotomy, and electrocardiogram (EKG) procedures.
- Document patient progress, treatments, and outcomes accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York.
- BSN required; additional education or certifications preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in medical‑surgical or related nursing practice.
- Proficiency in IV therapy, BLS, venipuncture, and phlebotomy; infusion therapy experience preferred.
- Experience in rheumatology or related specialty is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
