Job Type: Full-Time | 40 hours per week (8 hours per day)

Duration: 13 weeks
Position Summary: We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced RN Nurse Educator to support clinical staff development through education, mentorship, and ongoing training. This role requires strong clinical expertise in Labor & Delivery and Medical/Surgical nursing.
Responsibilities- Provide education, training, and competency assessments for nursing staff.
- Develop and implement orientation and continuing education programs.
- Evaluate clinical competencies and promote evidence-based practice.
- Serve as a resource and mentor to nursing personnel to enhance clinical performance.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify learning needs and improve care delivery.
- Maintain accurate educational records and ensure compliance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
- Minimum two (2) years of Med/Surg experience
. - Two (2) years of Labor & Delivery experience required.
- Strong clinical and critical‑thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, teaching, and leadership abilities.
- Required: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN or ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Required: Active New York State RN License.
- Primary Source Verification of license and registration from the NYS Department of Education (NYSED).
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred: Advanced certifications (e.g., ACLS, NRP) are a plus.
