Williamsville Psychiatry PLLC is a leading outpatient mental health practice providing compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric and psychotherapy services for children, adolescents, and adults. We seek a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our multidisciplinary team and support patient care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Position Summary:

The Outpatient RN will support psychiatric providers, coordinate patient care, and ensure smooth clinic operations. This role involves direct patient interaction and administrative support, focusing on medication management, patient education, and care coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient intake assessments, including vital signs and relevant medical/psychiatric history.
• Administer and monitor psychiatric medications, including injections (e.g., long-acting antipsychotics).
• Provide patient education regarding medication use, side effects, and adherence.
• Triage patient calls, respond to clinical inquiries, and relay provider instructions.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and therapists to coordinate treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Assist with prior authorizations, lab orders, and other care coordination tasks.
• Uphold all HIPAA, safety, and regulatory compliance standards.

Qualifications:

• The current NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license is in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience (psychiatric/behavioral health experience preferred), recent graduates welcome to apply
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-focused approach.
• Proficient with EMR systems and basic computer applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based care environment.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Monday–Friday, one weekend per month
• Competitive salary based on experience, with a benefits package.
