Critical Care Nurse Practitioner - Schedule:
8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts; schedule to be determined based on availability
- Deliver advanced critical care services as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and complex patient conditions in a critical care setting
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Manage and monitor life-support equipment and critical care interventions
- Document patient care activities and clinical findings accurately
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members
- Respond promptly to changes in patient status and adapt care accordingly
- Must hold active Nurse Practitioner licensure in NY, and additional licensure in CT, NJ, or PA is advantageous
- Prior experience in critical care medicine required
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate strike coverage needs
