Quality Assurance Lead

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Assurance & Testing Lead to oversee the testing lifecycle of their software products. This role involves close collaboration with development teams, business analysts, and product owners to ensure our applications meet the highest quality standards. This is a hybrid position based in Dutchess County, NY.

Quality Assurance & Testing Lead
’s Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to fully understand application functionality and testing requirements.
• Define the scope and out-of-scope items for testing activities.
• Develop comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and detailed test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
• Create and maintain a Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) to ensure full coverage of business requirements.
• Execute test cases thoroughly, ensuring the software performs as intended across all use cases.
• Document test results with date-stamped, PII-masked screenshots and clear status reporting.

Quality Assurance & Testing Lead
’s Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in software quality assurance and testing leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficiency in writing detailed test cases, test plans, and traceability matrices.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Test Rail, ALM).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
