Schedule:

Full-time, nights + weekends required

Dudley’s is a neighborhood favorite known for our lively atmosphere, approachable menu, and warm. We’re looking for a Server Captain to help lead floor service and uphold the guest experience during busy, high-energy service periods.

This role is ideal for an experienced server who is ready to take on more responsibility and support both the FOH team and management in delivering seamless, memorable service.

• Lead the dining room service flow and assist servers throughout service
• Greet tables, guide guests through the menu, and provide thoughtful recommendations
• Oversee table touches, pacing, quality standards, and guest satisfaction
• Support the training, coaching, and onboarding of new serving staff
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen, bar, hosts, management, and fellow servers
• Handle VIP tables, special requests, and service recovery with confidence
• Maintain service stations, cleanliness, and organizational standards
• Help ensure smooth transitions between brunch, dinner, and late service periods

• 2+ years serving experience in a high-volume NYC restaurant required
• Prior leadership, server captain, or trainer experience strongly preferred
• Confident, personable, and able to read the room
• Strong communication and pacing awareness
• A team leader who leads by example, not by ego
• Thrives in fast-paced, high-energy environments
• Able to work nights, weekends, and peak service shifts
