OverviewThe successful individual will leverage their proficiency in retail to deliver an exceptional customer experience, support the store’s operating goals, and build brand equity.
Responsibilities- Client & Service Expert – Achieve individual sales goals, develop strong product knowledge across all categories, deliver the ultimate Kate Spade experience, and develop personal connections with guests.
- Leadership Presence – Meet personal sales goals, showcase extended product knowledge, partner with the Store Manager and Assistant Manager to elevate the selling culture, and initiate business‑driving events in store.
- Building Brand Equity – Communicate the Kate Spade New York brand aesthetic, philosophy, and lifestyle to the sales team and customers; build strong relationships; convey client feedback to leadership; and adhere to all company policies and procedures with honesty and integrity.
- Operational Excellence – Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures, including counting register funds, completing bank deposits, opening and closing registers, and securing the facility.
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in luxury goods or a comparable retail environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Strong communication skills and proven ability to contribute to an elevated selling culture.
- Elevated sense of personal style.
- Available to work store schedules, including evenings and weekends.
- Standing for extended periods of time.
- Ability to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable climbing ladders.
