Publishing Operations Coordinator​/Manager, Henry Holt

* Workflow and Calendar Management:
Oversee and optimize the full publishing lifecycle for all frontlist and select backlist titles. This includes creating and managing seasonal calendars, setting agendas for imprint-wide meetings, and ensuring the maintenance of all publishing schedules.

* Inventory and Financial Management:
Work closely with Associate Publisher to oversee all aspects of inventory management for both frontlist and backlist titles, including attending weekly P[&]amp;

B (Print and Bind) meetings and managing remainder processes.

* Data and Metadata Management:
Use data to inform decisions, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and prepare reports on production timelines and costs. Oversee launch and tip sheets to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with sales requirements. Work with the central metadata team on regular metadata audits of Holt titles.

* Interdepartmental

Collaboration:

Partner with editorial and managing editorial on maintaining schedules for manuscript submission and delivery; with art on cover and interior artwork; and with publicity and marketing on promotional materials and schedules. Manage special publishing processes internally, such as cover reveals, book club rollouts, embargoes, and stickering. Ensure all teams are aligned on project goals and timelines.

* Rights Management:
Oversee galley quantities and distribution. Manage permissions licenses and liaise with Legal and Contracts on matters such as reversions and cancellations.
