OVERVIEW
Morning Brew Inc. is hiring an Account Executive to support and grow our Emerging B2B advertiser portfolio, the fastest-growing segment of our B2B business. This role is ideal for a motivated seller who wants meaningful ownership, creative runway, and the opportunity to grow alongside a rapidly scaling sales organization.
Morning Brew Inc. is the most engaging business media company in the world, reaching a monthly audience of 350M+ across 20+ owned and operated multimedia brands. Our B2B Sales team partners with high-growth B2B companies and agencies to design thoughtful, creative marketing programs across newsletters, custom content, social, video, podcasts, events, and more.
In this role, you'll build and own a book of high-growth Emerging accounts and be goaled on the growth of this business. This is not a passive sales or renewals role; success comes from constant curiosity, hustle, and a genuine interest in helping clients grow their marketing impact through Morning Brew's ecosystem.
This is a full-cycle sales role, requiring 3-5 years sales experience including at least 2-3 years in a closing role. You'll be supported by a Director, a VP and cross-functional partners as you build strong fundamentals, sharpen your pitch, and learn how to win business and grow accounts time and time again.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Own and grow a book of Emerging B2B advertiser accounts
* Prospect into new business opportunities within and beyond your book
* Retain and expand existing accounts through upsell and cross-sell opportunities
* Run full-cycle sales motions: discovery, pitching, negotiation, closing, and renewal
* Build consultative, value-driven pitches across Morning Brew's brand and product portfolio
* Learn to map buying groups and navigate brand- and agency-led relationships
* Partner closely with Account Management, Creative Strategy, Pricing, and Editorial teams
* Maintain accurate pipeline, pacing, and forecasting in Salesforce
* Share client feedback and insights to help improve products, pitches, and processes
* Participate in training, deal reviews, and coaching sessions to accelerate your growth
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
* 3-5 years of sales experience, including at least 2-3 years in a closing role
* Experience in B2B, media, advertising, SaaS, or a related field
* Experience negotiating, closing and managing five- and six-figure contracts with executive-level buyers and agencies
* Exposure to full-cycle sales or strong experience in prospecting and deal support roles
* Interest in growing accounts through thoughtful relationship-building and solution selling
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple opportunities at once
* Coachable mindset with a strong desire to learn and improve
* Collaborative, team-first approach to working cross-functionally
* Familiarity with sales tools like Salesforce, Linked In Sales Navigator, Zoom Info, or Outreach is a plus
* Existing industry relationships are not required-curiosity, work ethic, and the ability to build trust matter more
* Interest in B2B marketing, digital media, or advertising strongly preferred
* Genuine excitement for Morning Brew's voice, audience, and growing B2B platform
COMPENSATION $90,000 - $95,000 base DOE + variable
* Final offers for this job will be made within the parameters of the salary range provided, commensurate with experience. Total offer package to include benefits highlighted under our perks section below.
