** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location.

+ Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor records, and direct individuals in accordance with site procedures.

+ Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to established procedures.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facility areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.

+ Maintain accurate logs, complete incident reports, and communicate relevant security-related information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and a rustic guard shack.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
