Founded in 2002, POM has handled thousands of site installations, primarily focused on large offices, retail, hospitality, health care, education, and real estate (commercial, luxury residential and hi‑rise).

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Serve as the on‑site lead, coordinating daily activities of field technicians and subcontractors.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the Project Manager, customer, and field crew.
  • Plan, assign, and monitor work to ensure productivity, quality, and adherence to project schedules.
  • Oversee material management on site, including inventory tracking, delivery scheduling, and minimizing waste.
  • Enforce compliance with safety standards, codes, and company policies.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on installation work before project handoff.
  • Provide hands‑on training and mentorship to junior technicians, supporting their development.
  • Escalate technical or project issues promptly to Project Managers, offering recommended solutions.
  • Document daily progress, site conditions, and workforce activities for reporting purposes.
  • Support scheduling by forecasting manpower needs and coordinating with management to address resource gaps.
  • Provide low voltage system installation and support services to Project Managers to ensure timely delivery of scope of work.
  • Perform service and installation of low voltage systems.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform repairs as necessary.
  • Perform system upgrades and additions to increase functionality and utilization.
  • Conduct computer program entry as required.
  • Prepare site documentation to ensure compliance with regulations and provide accurate project information.
  • Program and configure systems.
  • Dress, terminate, and test cables and components.
  • Commission low voltage systems to meet quality standards and support handoff to the Service team.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Experience in installing, programming, training in low voltage systems.
  • Willingness and ability to work flexibly and diligently as befits an important role within a fast growing division.
  • Ability to work with power tools and ladders.
  • Ability to complete tasks according to schedule and communicate with supervisors.
  • Knowledge of building construction, ability to read/understand floor plans and riser drawings.
  • Strong communication, customer service skills and neat personal appearance.
  • High level of self‑motivation and an ability to work with a high level of initiative.
  • Strong team player who can communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and work effectively in high pressure situations.
