Salary: $49,000 per year
Position Overview: The Crime Victims Case Manager provides direct, trauma‑informed services to victims of domestic violence and gender‑based violence on‑site at the Family Justice Center.
Major
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct client intakes and assess survivors’ needs using a client‑centered, trauma‑informed approach.
- Provide case‑management services, including safety planning, crisis intervention, and court‑accompaniment & advocacy.
- Assist clients in accessing emergency shelters, public assistance (Medicaid, SNAP, housing), and crime‑victim compensation claims.
- Help clients navigate the family‑court system, including filing family‑offense petitions.
- Offer emergency practical assistance such as transportation and food vouchers.
- Coordinate referrals to onsite and off‑site partners in legal, social, mental‑health, and other services.
- Collaborate with partner agencies to streamline service delivery.
- Regularly assess client safety, flagging high‑risk cases to supervision.
- Maintain digital records in the FJC Application and track data for ENDGBV reporting.
- Adhere to confidentiality protocols and privacy standards.
- Support ENDGBV’s client‑feedback initiatives and promote satisfaction surveys.
- Perform additional tasks as the Program Provider and ENDGBV agree.
Specifications for Education / Certifications / Licenses:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Associate’s degree plus at least two years of relevant experience, preferably with survivors of domestic violence and gender‑based violence.

Skills and Experience:
- Experience assisting clients with public benefits (Medicaid, housing, SNAP, etc.).
- Strong commitment to equity and social justice, with continuous learning in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Sensitivity and knowledge of domestic violence affecting LGBTQ+, elderly, and individuals with mental‑health concerns.
- Proven ability to deliver client services—communication, listening, counseling, and documentation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills for prioritizing multiple tasks.
- Exceptional interpersonal, critical‑thinking, communication, and writing skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Discretion with confidential information; adaptability to competing demands.
- Flexibility with work schedule according to program needs.
