We build and maintain key Bloomberg Terminal functions for top-down and comparative investment analysis - essential tools for today’s macro-driven, data-intensive market environment. Our work supports tens of thousands of client sessions globally every day. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will drive projects through all phases of the software development life cycle, embracing agile principles and iterative delivery.

Delivering fast, insightful, and personalized top-down analytics to help clients understand markets, identify opportunities, and validate their views with cutting-edge technology and data.

Demystifying market movements and making top-down investments accessible and objective for all investors.

Take ideas from inception to design, development, and deployment of highly performing systems.

Build scalable, resilient applications guided by principles such as high-availability, adaptability, and maintainability
-delivering an intuitive, effective user experience.

Collaborate closely with business units, UX designers, and tech teams across New York and London.

Onboard our desktop applications onto mobile platforms to meet users where they are.

4+ years of programming experience in C++, Python or Typescript

An understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as data structures and algorithms

Prior contributions to system design and architecture and scaling fault‑tolerant, distributed systems

Communicate effectively, sharing your ideas, designs, and solutions with stakeholders across business and engineering.

Financial knowledge about equities, indices, and funds.

Experience mentoring junior engineers.

Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka, Rabbit MQ.

Knowledge of relational databases.

Salary Range = USD Annually+ Benefits + Bonus

The referenced salary range is based on the Company’s good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
